| The Training Networks are changing ….
|
From the beginning of 2018, the Training Networks are being replaced with the
HR, WHS and Training Networks.
We have a new and expanded agenda, and we are now starting earlier. The networks are more strongly focused on the operations and requirements of processors, in particular, Human Resources, WHS and Training personnel.

MINTRAC are now offering Request for Permit (RFP) training online. The training program covers the unit AMPX424
Raise and validate request for export permits and Meat Transfer Certificates.

14 students at the Wagga Campus of Charles Sturt University have been given an opportunity through an AMPC funded project to gain Meat Safety /Quality Assurance (QA) Qualifications and undertake extended placements with meat processing companies.

| Proposed changes to the exam generator
|
MINTRAC is currently working on an AMPC funded project to review and redesign the Meat Safety exam generator. The project will enable the MINTRAC team to revisit the bank of questions and images to ensure that they provide an adequate coverage of the topics.

| Cases for Change open for public comment on the Skills Impact website
|
A Case for Change sets out evidence for proposed changes to a training package (i.e. qualifications, skill sets and units of competency). It includes the scope of the research, analysis and industry engagement undertaken to collate the evidence base.
